Fall From Window May Prove Fatal

Mrs Jane Walker of West Philadelphia Street is in critical condition at Indiana Hospital after a fall from a window at A W Mabon home. She lost balance while leaning out, fell down concrete steps into a cellar, sustaining brain concussion and failing to recover after a Monday night operation.

Bodenhamer Property Sold On North Bixth Street

Burt and Frank Keller bought the Bodenhamer property on North Bixth street in Considera tion for 8500 dollars. The two story brick residence and storeroom were part of the deal and had housed Keller Bros hardware for years. Mrs Hilaabeth Clyde, 79, at the County Home from South Mahoning township, is described as critically ill with dropey. County Commissioners Wakefield and Bennett are in Crawford county buying four mun ut of fresh cows for the County Home. The quail rabbit and squirrel hunting season opens Friday November 1 and runs until December 16. A double birthday celebration is noted at the home bar.

County Home Woman Dies At Age Of 83

Elizabeth Donahue lifelong county resident died at the County Home on Friday evening at age 83 from general debility. She was survived by son John Ewing of Pit township and sisters in Indiana and Garbleton. Born September 20, 1821 in Pine township, she had lived with her sister in Garbleton for 30 years and had been blind for seven years after a fall. Funeral services were held at the County Home and burial followed in Oakla cemetery.
