County hospital donors to present building to county

Elkin, president of the local organization, will formally accept the institution for the county. Residents are invited to inspect the new facility on Friday afternoon Oct 30 from 1 to 5 pm. The donors urge county residents to take part in the gift built for the county constitution. The grounds are graded with a green sod carpet planned for next year and a grove of oaks for patients. The interior features modern appliances for care and treatment. At the county organization annual meeting directors were re elected for terms of three, two, and one year.

Two Men Die In Mountain Road Auto Crash
Three men in a single car, Woolverton of New York City driving, Dr. Brallier of Alexandria a passenger, and Dr. Avallier in the back seat, were in a wreck on the Mountain road near Hollidaysburg when the car skidded on a descent. Brallier died instantly after being thrown against a stone. Woolverton and Avallier survived with minor injuries. Brallier, 35, leaves sisters Mrs. Young of Norall Street and Mrs. Shores of Nampa, and brothers Drs. Brayl erf and John Braller. Funeral in Indiana after services at Alexandria. The incident followed a political meeting in Altoona. The other casualty was Charles Sutton, 57, of Teerne, who, distracted by glare from a trolley, crashed into a streetcar at Graceton Line. Sutton died Sunday morning. wife Mrs. Sutton, daughter Tessie, and several relatives survive. Sutton formerly worked as a railroad official in Homer City and lived in this county. Funeral held at Sutton home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
