RECENT DEATHS. Mrs. Margaret Jane Speedy died at her son Clark W. Speedy’s home in Conemaugh township on Wednesday morning November 11 1896. She contracted pneumonia after a cold while visiting her son near Livermore and died on her 83rd birthday. She was born Margaret Jane Dunlap later married Samuel McCreery and Hugh Mo Speedy. She leaves five children from the Speedy marriage and two from the McCreery union. Funeral services were led by Rev. Jones assisted by Dr. Irwin at Ebenezer church burial followed. Her life is praised as faithful and Christian.
