New Nail Service Expands Mail Routes on Rufalo RR
After December 5 new mail service will operate on the Indian and Elders Ridge branches of the Rufalo Rochester and Pittsburg railroad in the county. Trains will carry mail to Ernest Creekside Chambersville Gambleton Home Mavion Center Rochester Mills Locust and other offices along the line. Elders Ridge branch offices to receive service include Shelocta Parkwood West Lebanon Clarksburg Iselin and possibly Elders Ridge with morning and evening deliveries from Indiana and the local post office. The Star mail route to Marion Center will be discontinued and parts of Biderton and West Lebanon routes will be affected by the change.

Oily policemen in trouble over ferret hunt in Cherryhill
Pittsburg police officers A W Gittins Arthur Gittins and James King and August Learn of Smoky City were arrested by Game Warden G H Craig for rabbit hunting with a ferret in Cherryhill township.
