Obituary: Edson R. Hull Killed at Franklin Steel Plant
Edson R. Hull a former New Florence resident was killed in the plate mill at Franklin Steel Plant Johnstown on Wednesday. Born October 16, 1863 at New Florence he leaves two siblings in New Florence, his wife and nine children. He had lived in Bolivar before moving to Johnstown. Remains interred at New Florence on Friday.

Local Freight Wrecked Near Coral and Injuries Reported
A local freight train derailed four cars on a branch at Coral near Graceton last evening around seven. Brakeman David Ortz sustained a minor injury, and the track remained blocked for nearly three hours. The local passenger train arrived at midnight. Engineer Samuel B. Taylor, formerly with Weat Penn Hospital patient in Pittsburgh, was injured in a wreck but is recovering well and hopes to return to duty soon. Separately, D. M. Henry of Spruce bought a timber tract near Strongstown and will start operations shortly. The Normal football team defeated South Fork 11 to 0 and has scheduled games with Monessen, Grove City, and Westminster in November.

Woman Dies After Wagon Accidents in Cherryhill
Mrs. Jackson Morgan of Pine Flats was fatally injured when a wagon wheel dropped into a ditch as she drove after her husband stopped at the Henry Golden farm. She died Saturday night aged 73. Survived by two children from her first marriage, interment at Manor cemetery, Cherryhill township.
