War hero to get $700000 legacy

Trustees of an estate valued over $2 million plan to award George Camp Douglas one third upon turning 35. The Charley Ross Kidnapping Mystery Across Centuries

The famous Charley Ross case remains the leading unresolved kidnapping mystery. Dated from July 1874, it traces the Philadelphia boy's abduction, the ransom notes, and a decades long search by his family and authorities across America and Europe. Despite millions spent and several false leads, no definitive body or culprit has emerged, making it the classic benchmark for unsolved police cases.

Berliners hunt thousands of beetles after a flood of the field bugs, selling them to dealers who profit up to 300 percent.
