Mending Our Nets to Win Souls for God
In a crowded tabernacle Dr. Talmage urges pastors to mend their nets not fight each other. He likens faith to a fisherman's net, warns against oversized meshes, entanglement with other nets, and urges heart work, patience, and faith. He cites James and John mending nets, calls for unity and continual personal reform, and urges sweeping efforts to land many souls for Christ.
