Burglary at Arthnagh House During Bible Class
J J Hutchison family of Armagh were away at a bible class when burglars gained entry to Arthnagh House through the rear parlour window. They ransacked the buffet and bookcase, occupied the first floor, opened several doors, and left quickly. No loss reported as the family returned before dawn. The thieves appeared to seek money.

Woman Found Dead in Chair Near Mora
Mrs. John Spencer, about 40, of near Mora, was found dead Sunday evening in a rocking chair at her home. She had finished dishes and appeared in good health when her husband went to the barn. Norm Point Couple Observes 50th Wedding Anniversary
Mr and Mrs Jacob Dormire, long time North Point residents, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary with 104 relatives and friends at their home. Dormire, born February 21 1878 in Armstrong county, had two marriages and ten children between spouses. The couple, longtime Lutherans of Trade City, now live on the family farm and received about $55 in gold and gifts during the celebration.

Booze Dispenser Sentenced in Liquor Case at Allegheny Court
Amity Myers of Iselin was fined 500 dollars, costs, and sentenced to six months in the Allegheny county workhouse after pleading guilty to selling liquor legally. The verdict cited one and five gallon jugs found on the premises as corroboration. Joe Pompa of Ernest, serving six months for illegal sale, was paroled then remanded to finish term after court found he was misled by Myers.

One Dead and One Injured at Foreign Wedding Feast
A Rus sian wedding in Carneytown Saturday night left John Fed erick, 21, dead from a abdomen wound and Mike Dropka, 38, seriously wounded, both shot by an invited guest watching outside.
