Amendment tide rises across the state says Hox Palmer

Hox H W Palmer as state committee chairman states that support for the Amendment is increasing statewide. An undertaker in Cradford county opposes it claiming adoption would harm his business. Voters are urged not to move to another election district before June 16 to preserve their voting rights on the Amendment. The Judges' Salary bill advances, awaiting the Governor's signature, though it is broadly unpopular. The Amendment clarifies that intoxicants may be used in arts, medicine, and sacramental wine, reinforcing doctrines that states may prohibit beverage manufacture and sale.
