Elders Ridge Academy to reopen for students this spring
Trustees at Elders Ridge Academy voted to resume operations after L W Robingon of Punxsutawney offered $3,000 through attorney John A Scott to fund reopening on a paying basis for five years. Building improvements begin now with instructors to be hired. If work isn’t ready for spring, the academy will open in fall. A board reorganization may occur at next week’s meeting.
