Fatally Burned While Bathing at State Hospital
Indiana man William Klingensmith, 40, died at the Danville State Hospital from injuries after a scalding bath Thursday. The bathwater heater allegedly failed, and attendants found him unconscious. Klingensmith, an Indiana native and former local electrician, is survived by his sisters Bess Klingensmith and Mrs. Guy Mortis. Funeral services are at his aunt Leah Klingensmith’s home with interment at Oakland cemetery.

Dangerous crossings hope to spur state action
A joint appeal by John W.
