Miss Margaret Gemmell of Kent spent Thursday and Sunday with her sister Miss Clara Gammall of town. Charles Aiken of Coal Run visited Frank Marenka last week. Miss Martha Wardrop spent the week with friends in Salisbury. Mrs Guy Wolf was a Pittsburg visitor last week. Miss Sara Thurston, homebound with rheumatism, can go out. Lloyd Kelly and Daniel Gallagher were visitors to Saltsburg and Kiski. W B Wardrop was a Pittsburg visitor returning at week’s start. Miss Jean Patterson is confined with an attack of grip. Rev C B Culbertson’s absence shifts pulpit duties to Harry Clawson next Sunday evening. Communion services will be held March 8 for Protestant church members. A walk was constructed in front of the Pittsburg Coal Company office. a stone wall reinforces it along the roadside. The Catholic congregation improvised a place of worship in the dance hall with an altar on the lower floor now used for religious purposes.
