Two Men Drop Dead In Green Township And Parkwood
Multiple deaths reported from heart trouble and strokes across Green Township and Parkwood. Samuel McCombs, 68, collapsed while working in woods near his home. his son found him. William Smith, 74, died returning home near Parkwood with wife and children named. Joseph Ferguson, 73, Jacksonville blacksmith, died on his 74th birthday after a paralysis and health decline. Interments planned in Cookport West Union cemetery and Jacksonville Presbyterian cemetery.

Wellington B Kline Dies Prominent Local Resident
Wellington Bertolet Kline a well known resident died at his daughter Mrs T 3 Clark’s home on North Ninth street Wednesday evening after a long illness. Born February 3 1840 in Earlville Pa he married Annie M Caster of Pottstown on June 27 1861. He moved to this town in 1862 and held positions in several firms before forming Marshall and Kline until 1894. He later resided in Johnstown briefly before returning to this town in 1900 where he remained active in business and fraternal circles including Masonry and the Kedron Commandery. Funeral services were held at the Clark home at 4 30.

Antricken family victims die of diphtheria
The third and last child of Mr and Mrs George Shysong of West Wheatfield township died Saturday evening from diphtheria. The family had been struck weeks earlier, with the other two children also dying. The last victim was buried Monday in the Garmpany M. 2 church cemetery. Diphtheria markers appear in the area, with one son of Jonathin Langham severely ill at home and quarantines in effect.
