Route 63 Route Route Across Indiana to Brookville

An Act of Assembly establishes Route Sixty Three from Indiana to Brookville passing Creekside and Chambersville through Dollar and Punxsutawney to Brookville. The plan, supported by county officials and lawmakers since 1916, aims to serve about five thousand people, linking Ernest Creekside and Chambersville to the county seat with a water level grade and no net increase in bridges beyond existing projections. Supporters argue the route best serves the region, outweighing Mahoning Road concerns, and call for unity to build the new road with state funding and local cooperation.
