Mrs Elizabeth Rowe widow of the late George Rowe of Rayne Township died Tuesday July 7 from paralysis. Survived by all children. She belonged to Bethel Lutheran church in Rayne Township. Funeral service held Wednesday afternoon by Pastor Rev Tomlinson with interment in the church graveyard.
Mrs. Mmma Reynolds wife of William Reynolds of near Blacklick in Barrell township died Monday morning from dropsy due to heart trouble at age 43 6 1. A husband and daughter survive her. The remains will be interred at Mechaniusbury today.
Mrs Maria Little wife of John Little of Washington township died Tuesday evening of consumption at age 66. A Presbyterian church member she will be mourned at funeral Thursday with interment in Curry Run church graveyard.

Mr. D. H. Lucas reports a record potato crop in the Fourth ward. Last week in three rows he unearthed 74 large potatoes in prime condition for the table. He projects a total yield near 300 bushels.
Mr. Tom White of Chicago son of Judge White is ill with typhoid fever. Mrs White and daughter Mrs. Virginia Hickock left Monday for his bedside and will stay until his recovery.
The County Commissioners continue payment of sheep damages with $42.50 paid in the last week for sheep killed.
Judge White held adjourned argument court to tally Blairsville borough vote on debt increase. 434 ballots cast, 196 in favor. Earhart and Clawson seek rehearings contending license refusals ruin them and patrons switch to Taodiang House. petitions directed to be filed. Todd Walker, son of R F Walker of Third Ward, was struck by an engine while crossing a railroad at Bondville and hurled 30 feet. He suffered a broken right leg above the knee, arm injuries, and a mangled heel. His deafness since meningitis is noted as a possible contributing factor. His mother and Al left for Bondville. Mrs Siefkin and Todd’s letter described the details.
Recent marriages reported from Butler Pittsburgh area: Orin Stittler of Butler and Minnie D Little of near Champ were married in the Third ward hotel parlors by Squire G J Kellar of Fourth ward. A reception followed at the bride’s parents home, Mr and Mrs Thomas Little.
Mr W George Davis of Buffington township and Miss Flora B Hill daughter of Mrs Ellen B Hill of Strongstown were married at the home of the anti minister Rev J M Cogley of Mechanicstown on Wednesday.
A male suspect visited the home of two women named Roger in Blacklick on Thursday night and attempted to steal sheep from a nearby field. The animal was killed near the house, with skin and entrails left nearby. The perpetrator is identified and being shadowed.
