Strawberry Canning Hints From Pennsylvania Expert
Strawberries are tender and mostly water. Miss Pearl MacDonald of Pennsylvania State College offers a method to keep jars fuller with berry juice and firmer texture by adding sugar, forming juice, slow heating, cooling, and sterile processing, using hot juice to fill jars and sealing.
