Photograph of a Rival Draws Lucy to a Change of Heart
In a sunlit garden Lucy endures a tense meeting with Dick Fellowes and a sleepy rector's guest. A hidden photograph, torn from a Norfolk coat, reveals a fuzzy haired rival, sparking Lucy’s sudden shift from irritation to confession as Dan the retriever returns the image. Dick wakes to a new warmth and the tea invites normalcy.
