Christmas services drew large crowds in the Presbyterian church and other local churches. Lauretta Fetterman stayed with her mother in town during the holidays. Family gatherings, visitors from Vandergrift Heights and Smicksburg, and a music recital by Mrs. Stickley marked a busy holiday period with multiple generations at meals and photos. Local institutes and farm topics were discussed in Banks township with state experts, focusing on crops, dairying, and farm management.
