The 65th annual Indiana County Teachers Institute is in Library Hall alongside the 15th session of the Indiana County Directors Association at the Court House. December Reunions Highlight Mank and Colkitt Families
A Mank family Christmas reunion at the home of Mr and Mrs M Hamilton near Covode drew about 30 relatives and guests including B J Mauk of Bangor Michigan who hadn t seen the family in 16 years. The gathering featured dinner, recitations, songs and a speech by B J Mauk. Colkitt family Christmas at Plumville brought the entire clan together with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren present along with neighbors and friends. Mr Colkitt, age 80, enjoyed good health as the gathering at his home near Plumville became one of the most pleasant moments of his life.

Negro Found Dead in Plumville After Christmas
County Coroner W. D. Gates investigated the death of Mose, a 50 year old Black man, found unconscious in a Plumville shanty on Christmas day. He had been struck on the head with a monkey wrench, robbed, and left to die from exposure. Last seen Monday with nearly $100 in currency. Post mortem ruled death from freezing, no skull fracture.

Milton Allison Dies at About Fifty in White Township
Milton Altison of White township died Thursday at about age 50 after Bright's disease. He resided at the Allison homestead west of town and had suffered for some time. He recently returned from Cambridge Springs and died one day after his return. Survived by his wife and one son Edwin. Brothers Elmer W., John, J. Lewis, and Dr R. W. Allison, all in the area. Funeral services held at his home Saturday conducted by Rev. Ewrtz Crawford, with interment in Oakland cemetery.
