Elders Ridge Academy Receives Cleared Debts Gift
Elders Ridge Academy, a historic Pennsylvania school, learned that judgments by L W Robinson of the Buffalo Rochester and Pittsburg Railway interests were presented and the old debt wiped out. The school, once kept running by a Robinson proposal, grew into the first State Vocational School with nearly 100 students.

Report of county home farm yields and productions
Supt. D. T. Niel reports partial figures for the Indiana County Home and county farm since January 1. The farm produced 60 tons of hay, 840 bushels oats from 15 acres, 518 bushels rye from 17 acres, 150 bushels buckwheat, 1400 bushels corn after silage, 550 potatoes, and surplus cabbage, parsley, turnips, rutabagas, beets, onions, and sweet corn. Over 640 quarts of fruit, 94 quarts of jellies and butters, 205 gallons of apple butter, pickles, sauerkraut, and cider were made. Pork slaughter totaled 4425 pounds yielding 535 pounds lard. Farm stock includes 18 hogs, 21 cattle, four horses and 260 chickens. Farm products sold exceeded $780. Mrs. Niel oversaw bakery, producing 7351 loaves, 8012 cookies, and 798 pies, plus 1589 pounds of butter and 607 dozen eggs laid.
