Indiana County Teachers Institute Opens With Noted Instructors
The fifty fourth annual Indiana County Teachers Institute begins Monday December 18 in Library Hall and runs five days. The fourteenth annual Indiana County Directors Association meeting follows Thursday and Friday. Prominent educators including Dr Robert A Armstrong Prof Charles C Bilis Prof Thos E Hodgen and Dr D Murphy will lecture with O H Vetter directing music. A memorial service by Indiana Lodge 931 Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks honors 114 deceased members with speeches songs and a benediction.
