Fire Ravages Homer City Plant Delays New Factory Work
A costly blaze in Homer City damages a new concrete plant complex and its forms at the post office site. The fire halts machinery in the factory used for work on the plant, forcing possible temporary sheds until repairs or rebuilding finish. The incident marks the second major fire for the company, with prior destruction in 1890 at a different site.
