Barking Dogs Lead to Body Found Near Railroad Tracks
A dog bark alerted workers to the corpse of Guy Crawford, 26, of Cockport, found on Pennsylvania railroad tracks near Stafford after disappearing from a neighbor's home Saturday night. He likely sat on the track to rest and was killed by a train. his family includes parents Max Crawford and several siblings. Nearby Ernest mine fatalities include Antonio Bassetti, 33, and injured John Gozetti from a motor wiring accident. Young Paul Kinter, 10, died when crushed under a dinky engine at Lowry coal bank branch road. Mike Menoskey, 57, of Witgue, electrocuted at Indiana Mine No. 4 during a live-wire incident.

Hailstorm Destroys Crops in Cherry Hill Township
A severe hailstorm Sunday afternoon swept Cherry Hill Township, damaging crops across a three mile area. R M Elwood faced 16000 cabbage plants and three acres of potatoes destroyed, with losses near 500 dollars. TD B Williams lost 34 acres of buckwheat. Lincoln Gilbert and John W Williams also suffered extensive losses to corn, oats, buckwheat. Frank Roberts saw corn cut to pieces and buckwheat ruined. two colts were killed by lightning near Penn Run.

Aged man sues over alleged fraud in deed transfers
Owen Smith of Conemaugh Township Indiana County aged 95 alleges in a Pittsburg court that through fraud he deeded away 70 acres in Indiana County and two Brookline lots. He seeks nullity of the deed and a restraining order against South Side Trust Company, Mrs. Edward Murphy, Mary Brady, and Rev. Thomas Devlin. He says Mrs. Murphy urged the arrangement while he visited in 1920 to collect on $2,000 judgments. His sons later found the deed had stripped him of all his property.
