Thieves Foiled In Homer City Home Burglaries
Thieves entered the Homer City residence of E. J. Miller early Sabbath morning but fled when discovered leaving behind stolen canned fruit. Also reported this week is an important deed recording by Register H. M. Lowry for 16 coal land tracts in Pine and Barr townships with Daniel H. Hastings deed to James L. Mitchell of Philadelphia valued at $94,226.33.
