Soloists of Note Coming for Indiana Music Festival
The Indiana Chor Society plans a two night festival in the First Presbyterian church on April 21 and 22 featuring the Easter cantata Victory Divine by the Choral Society, Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra under Berthaler, and soloists. Haydn The Creation will close the event with 80 Pittsburgh Symphony players. Special trains and season tickets will be offered as surrounding towns expect strong crowds.

Smith cases settled by mutual agreement
Agreements were reached at court this afternoon among the attorneys in the Smith cases erasing the hearing set for the afternoon from the docket. Farmers Bank of Indiana versus S J Smith et al and Dr H Ney Prothero versus the same and George W Sykes versus the same were and is the case. The Marion Center Bank suit against Smith and his Glen Campbell associates involved loans of about six hundred dollars. The funeral of Wendell P Thompson was held at his North Seventh street residence with large attendance and the Fire Association members attended in a body. Various local notes followed, including medical testimonials and academic lectures planned for Irwin and vicinity.
