Marchand’s Birthday Party Brightens Mrs Behn’s Winter

Tuesday evening many friends gathered at Mrs Elizabeth Behn’s home in Marchand to celebrate her eighty eighth birthday. She is mostly homebound due to rheumatism, but friends supplied cake and refreshments for a cheerful, first birthday party in years. The gathering included S Wetzel and Orval, Rev Hart, Rosa Wingarts, Margaret Steffy, Afra Huey, George Hicks, Tealph Winberg and Sara Bello, Annia Moot, Ruth Knauf and Helen, Mary Brown and Margaret Hongin.
