Gold Bells at Smicksburg Golden 50th Anniversary
Mr and Mrs Samuel Taylor Good longtime West Mahoning residents celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at the old Smicksburg Station homestead. Sixty guests attended including children grandchildren and a great grandchild. They were married March 4 1875 witnessed by relatives from Smicksburg and Dayton. The couple has lived on the Good homestead farm at various times totaling 55 years and now reside in Smicksburg. They are active in Smicksburg Lutheran Church with Mr Good having served as church officer and road supervisor. Both are longtime Republicans. An excellent dinner followed.
