A five year old girl, Nancy Elizabeth Henry, of Apollo died after being struck on Route 46, one mile west of Apollo. Coron er C. M. Woodward reported she suffered a fractured skull and internal injuries. The driver, Robert Felgar, 20, of Apollo R D 3, said he did not see the child until she ran onto the highway from behind a parked car and was about ten feet away when he saw her. He estimated his speed at 35 to 40 mph as he drove east.
