Mary Agnes Weamer of Venango died at home on Tuesday morning. Funeral in the Weamer residence Thursday at 3 p.m. Rev. William J. Sproul, longtime minister at Harmony and East Union Presbyterian Churches, dies at 89. funeral Thursday at 11 a.m. at Harmony Presbyterian Church Penn Run, with burial at West Union Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Born February 4, 1848 in Butler County, Sproull served as a missionary in Syria, later pastor in Fayetteville and Markle, and led Harmony and East Union Church from 1900 until retirement about 17 years ago. Surviving: son Chalmer Sproul of New Castle, daughters Mrs. E. D. Faling of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Stephens of Fenn Run, and brother Rev. T. C. Sproull of Pittsburgh.
