McCahill Gifts Home to Bishop in Pittsburgh

Vets Parade In Jamboree Opens Blairsville Week
Thousands are expected for the VFW parade in Blairsville tonight. More than 34 units in four divisions, at least 10 bands and 11 drum corps, form at the Diamond and route along Market Morrow Maple to the State Armory Jamboree Grounds. Runaway truck damages Blairsville homes and property
A truck driven by Leon Walter, 27, of Mifflinburg RD 2, lost braking on Blairsville Market Street hill and rammed two houses, a light pole, and a service station sign. No injuries were reported though a porch and fireplace were destroyed. The Esso station and Zeller Trucking Co. owned truck. Teresa Dimeo’s home was left damaged.
