Harrisburg June 8 In May registrations of automobiles fell below May 1934 for the first time in nearly a year with 42 049 registrations versus 50 109. Year to date totals still exceed the previous year at 1 376 591 for the first five months of 1935 compared with 1 343 754 in 1934. May receipts from auto and drivers licenses and fees totaled 1 119 345, down from 1 219 799 the prior May.

Harrisburg June 8 The Department of Revenue reports beer tax collections for the biennium ending May 31, 1945 totaled 1 261 890 93 surpassing earlier estimates by over 1 million. May receipts were 512 544 while floor tax reached 2 691 158. May collections stood at 226 852 with miscellaneous liquor taxes pushing total liquor and beer revenue since June 1 1933 to 15 257 757.

Store Robber Is Sentenced in Greensburg Case
Pleading guilty, Henry Dineen of Greensburg was sentenced to nine to 18 months in the Allegheny county workhouse by Judge C D Copeland in Westmoreland county criminal court for the Troutman department store robbery last March. Accomplice Phillip Sherry received a suspended sentence last week. The local attorney said two others implicated have not yet been arrested. About $229 worth of goods were recovered. Greensburg police trapped and arrested both suspects, aiding in recovery.
