Harrisburg June 3 Judge Kunkel overruled defense to remove capital metallic furniture contract case from jury. Balloon lands after storm near Clear Lake
The Ballesa Bown balloon left Quincy at 6 o'clock Monday night and drifted into a heavy rainstorm over Clear Lake, six miles southwest. It fell with no injuries and little damage. Occupants were Charles A. Covey, Captain C. L. Bumbaugh, and Charles H. Letchteiler. Also in New York, Anthony B Porter, senior member of Porter & Kilvert, killed himself in his office by chloroform after 70 years. He left a letter to a nephew asking for estate management and cremation.
