A garbled New York Stock Market report by W A Hamilton opens withbroker quotes and board listings. The text is heavily fragmented, mentioning Wabash and Rubber, price notes and trading activity, but lacks coherent data or complete names.
Indiana Pa resident testifies her husband suffered severe loins pain and lumbago impairing work. After using Dean's Kidney Pills from Hildebrand's Drug Store, the pain eased and he reports improvement. Sold by all dealers 50 cents. Foster Milburn Co sole US agents. Remember the name Dean's.

A warrant was issued in Philadelphia on June 3 for State Senator James P. McNichol Republican leader on a criminal charge. He named Kaufmann as the go between who received $10,000 to target gambling houses and discredit the Weaver administration. Gibboney denied knowledge of the payment and McNichol named Kaufmann in a letter to the Law and Order society.

John Hays Hammond announces his entry for the Republican vice presidential nomination following backing from friends who praise his Western knowledge and business backing. He, a Californian by birth and Gloucester resident, left Guggenheim Mining and now pursues independent mining engineering work amid political consultations. A healthcare note mentions Chamberlains Salve for nursing mothers with distresed ailments.
Jobe Smathere seriously ill with pneumonia in East Philadelphia. His brother Harry Smathere, a telegraph dispatcher at Mercer, has been summoned. Miss Ads Earl, a professional nurse, is in attendance amid the illness.
