Valentino Theatre Bombed In New Orleans

The Valentino theatre in New Orleans was blown up by three dynamite blasts early today. Five nearby houses suffered damage estimated around 40,000 dollars. No serious injuries reported. Police opened an investigation. A Glade Run Presbyterian church member, identified as the deceased, left a widow Molly Goff Wheatcroft, a brother R D Wheatcroft of Dayton, and sister Mrs George Grove of Walier. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. at the deceased’s home, led by Rev. G W Mc Intire, with interment in Glade Run cemetery.
