Two Injured In Maple Street Train Collision Near Indiana
Jay Donahue and Lisle Lafferty, both of Clarksburg, escaped serious harm when their Ford sedan was struck by a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train at the Maple Street crossing in Indiana. The car was demolished. Donahue suffered scalp and mouth lacerations and shoulder contusions while Lafferty, an invalid, sustained foot injuries and shock. The men were treated by Dr. H. B. Butterbaugh and sent home. This was the second Maple Street crossing collision in six weeks.
