Tito Signs Trade Pact With Britain
BELGRADE Yugoslavia and Britain agree on a five year trade pact as Tito curbs Cominform pressure. Officials say two way trade may reachabout 616,200,000 over five years with a British credit of 23,400,000 repayable in six years. Yugoslavia will sell Britain timber and copper while Britain supplies machinery textiles and chemicals. Compensation for nationalized properties will total 1416,800 annually for eight years. Government expenses next year rise about 12 percent to 2,514,920,000.
