The Star of Muncie reports Knightstown Inds municipal electric and waterworks plants are near collapse. Officials propose enlarging and modernizing the plants funded by bonds of 10000 while voters decide, though the city clerk says no bonds issued and no rate changes are confirmed.
The Vectrical World item notes Mason plans to abandon its municipal lighting plant and buy electricity from the Commonwealth Power Co. of Jackson.
