Clawson House Changes Hands in 16 000 Sale
C M Wortman formerly of the Washington Hotel Pauxsutawney and former landlord of the Lewis House purchased the Clawson House on Tuesday December 31 from William Clawson for 16000. The deal included the real estate furniture stock and all but personal belongings of Mr Clawson and his wife. Wortman is an experienced hotelman deemed capable of running the property.
