The fifty fourth annual Indiana Counts Teachers Institute opened under rough weather with Superintendent Stewart presiding. Rev Holmes and Prof Yetter led singing, Dr Murphy and Dr Vetter spoke on teaching history and language, stressing inspiration, memory devices, and service, as 320 of 842 county teachers enrolled for the week.
