Incense boom lifts Lone Beach entrepreneur to fame
William Block, 30, founder of Olfactory Corp., built a national incense empire with sales over 2 million last year, selling 31 flavors from Indian fragrances to pizza scent, via ads in underground papers and Sunset Strip shops. He credits personal drive and a garage setup that grew into large production facilities in California.
