Judge refuses to halt execution of condemned man Spinkellink
A Leon County circuit judge rejected a petition for a new hearing and refused to stay the planned execution of condemned murderer John A. Spinkellink. Gov. Askew had ordered the death penalty, with three motions dismissed as frivolous and a sham.
