Jury Examines Mental Tests in Kan taeng Murder Trial

Long Beach psychologist George D. Demos testified for the defense as the Norwalk Superior Court jury heard two psychological tests given to Deborah Joy Kantaeng. Demos argued her low intelligence and fear of her father could mean innocence of murder yet belief she committed the crime. Prosecutor Denis Petty cross examined the testing methods, noting psychology is not a precise science.
