Sister-in-law booked after delivering body to police
Buena Park police will seek a murder complaint against 34 year old Caroline Davis who allegedly shot her brother in law Richard Pollock six times during a family dispute then turned herself in with other relatives. Pollock was found dead in a 1952 Chevrolet. Davis is held without bail and faces arraignment if a murder complaint is issued.

Fireman Burned in Garage Blaze in Westminster
Duwayne Vargas a 21 year old Westminster fireman from 15471 Marlborough Circle was critically burned in a garage fire after a dog knocked over gasoline. He suffered third degree burns over about eighty percent of his body and was found by Westminster Officer Edward Hunt who put out the fire and aided him. Investigators said fumes from gasoline may have been ignited by a water heater or clothes dryer.

Hahn Released From Hospital After Heart Bypass Surgery
Los Angeles County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn left Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood after open heart surgery to bypass clogged arteries. A spokesman said Hahn, 55, was discharged around 11:30 a.m. and will rest at home for about two weeks before returning to work.
