Korea probes link between South Korea and U S political gifts
Investigators report Korean national Tongsun Park donated nearly $4,900 to John Ademas and $1,000 to William Broomfield with Edwards and silane cited as involved. Park also turned over $22,500 in canceled checks to Richard Hanna in 1973 and 1974. Officials say Park denies government direction of gifts, while evidence suggests a network of Seoul agents sought to influence U S actions on Korean interests.
