Nominated for Youth Conference on Atom
Two high school students from this area were nominated as candidates for a delegate seat at the fourth annual National Youth Conference on the Atom in Chicago. Bryce Robinson of Mayfair High School and Douglas Lofgren of Woodrow Wilson High School were selected from Edison Company service territory in southern and central California. Six students and their teachers will attend, all expenses paid, by the electric company. The conference runs November 7 through 9 and offers exposure to leading nuclear scientists.
