Good Ol Days set to unfold across downtown Long Beach
Downtown Long Beach hosts the Good Ol Days festival opening Thursday with attractions already under way, including Jett's Petting Zoo on 5th Street and a trout fishing pond across from 20a. The event features an auto and mobile home show from 1st to 7th Street, a 25 foot ski slide on Pine at Broadway, performances by Scott Willingham and Genia Fuller, pickle ball and racquetball demos, dancing to That Big Band, a space lab model display, and a kids’ petting zoo. Events run daily with contests, a bus christening Friday, and free tours downtown, plus a farmer’s market and kit cars on display.
