Agnew Arrives in Saigon For Brief Stop

Vice President Spiro Agnew arrived in Saigon today for a quick visit to confer with South Vietnamese President Nguyen Van Thieu and officials. He flew from Bangkok aboard a presidential Boeing 707, was met by a helicopter to Independence Palace, and was joined by U.S. Ambassador Ellsworth Bunker.
