Wardrobe Revolution Driven by Synthetic Fibers
A 1958 article from Better Living predicts major wardrobe changes driven by synthetics and blends in textiles. Chemically treated cottons, non woven fabrics, and fibers like nylon, dacron, and orlon could replace traditional fibers. Expect lighter weights, lower prices, easier care, and new garments from shirts to workwear. Non woven materials and heat adhesives may alter sewing and production methods.
