Democratic National Committeeman Stephen Reinhardt says the national committee is undemocratic and has urged a complete overhaul. In a letter to the party's national rules commission, meeting in Washington, he proposes expanding the committee from 110 to 150 or 250 members. California would rise from two to 16 or 25 members based on Democratic vote totals in the last three presidential elections.
