New quake fault evidence at Auburn Dam site reported
Friends of the River say USGS scientists found 105 centimeters of ground movement within 70 000 years near the north abutment east of Sacramento Auburn, signaling recent fault activity. The finding comes ahead of federal hearings on the dam and a planned environmental demonstration.
